Los bomberos suelen arriesgar la vida para sofocar un incendio o rescatar personas, por ello aparece la rob\u00f3tica.<\/p><p>El nuevo robot ha superado diversos test y est\u00e1 listo para entrar en servicio, se\u00f1ala un informe de El Espa\u00f1ol. Dice Mark Woodward, m\u00e1nager del Kent Fire and Rescue Service, que se busca \u201cmantener la seguridad de los bomberos, reducir el n\u00famero de recursos en un incidente y limitar el tiempo que estamos all\u00ed\u201d.<\/p><p>En un incendio se mezcla el riesgo por las alt\u00edsimas temperaturas, la presencia de humo, la posibilidad de derrumbe, con la urgencia por rescatar a las v\u00edctimas.<\/p><p>El robot es usado de manera remota, a una distancia de hasta 600 metros. Est\u00e1 provisto de una potente tracci\u00f3n para sacar a las v\u00edctimas en camilla y un sistema de riego con capacidad para rociar hasta 2.000 litros de agua por minuto.
